I enjoy the freedom and ability in what I do, wish it were possible for everyone, create the future in my mind first yet have been known to cluck over unlaid eggs for having announced the birth of my newest book many times over, meditate and pray twice daily, you never can tell, and do not wish harm on anyone but wish some people would do it to themselves.
Born and raised in Switzerland, my lifelong ambition is connecting with people who share the fun of getting in and out of trouble and when not, in finding heaven, in addition to family and friends, in nature, music, and books.
After twenty-five years in the UK, France, Germany, and the USA, I’m now a father, stepfather, grand-father, writer, and storyteller back near my mum and the rest of my family, in Biel/Bienne, Switzerland.
The idea of Wordography, also known as paying attention to words, first appeared out of the blue, a few years ago, when I was looking at simple like everybody else – the only alternative to complicated, simple in concept but impossible to explain.
That’s when I remembered that it used to be simple in the beginning and only got complicated once the past began to reappear and, faced with more pasts than anyone can handle, began to look within.
That it wouldn’t be simple I knew from the start but had already imagined the future without simple and it gave me the shivers, and while the journey took longer than imagined, it was never in doubt.
I’ve been blessed with more luck than a cat with nine lives, with family, friends, and government who picked me up each time was down and out for the count.
With the benefit of hindsight, I didn’t dream of writing a book with “Work in progress” in the end, but that’s what my latest, THE STORY OF THE WORLD ACCORDING TO WORDS has become, and to take it to the next level, am looking to connect with likeminded people.
